(Pulaski, PA)...Over the offseason, Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Racing Series Directors Vicki Emig and Mike Leone announced that the 2024 RUSH Late Model Flynn's Tire Touring Series will see a 42% increase in point fund monies with a record $20,000 going to the champion! In addition, the 2024 schedule of events for the Tour, which is near completion, will be the richest in history. Now, the Series is thrilled to announce another new aspect for 2024 as 3C Graphix will present the Tour's Rookie-of-the-Year with $3,000 going to the recipient! In addition, 3C, which specializes in wraps, screen printing and embroidery, will present the Futures Cup Championships for all of the Series including the Late Models, Sprint Cars, Sportsman Modifieds, Pro Mods, and Stock Cars, and will be known as the "Official Apparel" of RUSH.
In order to be eligible for the Flynn's Tire Touring Series 3C Graphix Rookie-of-the-Year, drivers cannot have competed in 75% or more of the completed events of any season on the Tour in Series history. In addition, drivers must be a Touring Series member and compete in 75% or more of the 2024 completed events. The highest eligible rookie driver in yearend 2024 Flynn's Tire Tour points will be crowned the $3,000 3C Graphix Rookie-of-the Year. "We've honestly never had a Rookie-of-the-Year in our Series as we've always focused on our Futures Cup programs part of the Weekly Series programs," acknowledged Emig. "However, Matt Latta of 3C Graphix approached us about presenting the honor and with several new racers inquiring about chasing after the Tour title with over $73,000 in points fund monies posted, we felt this way the perfect time to introduce it. And with that said, 3C Graphix will also present all of our popular Futures Cup programs."

Not only will the champion's share increase in 2024 for the Flynn's Tire Touring Series, but all of the guaranteed top 10 positions including $10,000 for second, $7,500 for third and $5,000 for fourth. In addition, positions 11-20 in points that compete in 75% of the events has also increased. (See breakdown below.) All of these drivers will also be eligible for the $5,000 bonus providing they compete in 75% of the completed events, and of course eligible drivers for the $3,000 3C Graphix Rookie-of-the-Year.
"When we first got involved with developing Crate Late Model racing in the Northeast we presented a $10,000 points fund and as recent as four years ago our champion earned $5,000," explained Emig. "To now post a points fund for our Late Model Tour alone of $76,200 shows just how far the Series has come and we cannot thank our drivers, car owners, marketing partners, and promoters enough for their support. While the 2024 champion will be guaranteed $20,000, it's conceivable he or she could win $28,000 if they are a rookie and would be lucky enough to win the loyalty bonus drawing!"
The Futures Cup program debuted in 2011 with the Late Model division and has carried over to all of the other RUSH Series divisions since their inceptions. The 3C Graphix Futures Cup is a separate points fund for eligible teenage racers utilizing each Series' Weekly Series points. The 2023 Futures Cup Champions were Davin Kaiser (Late Models), Devon Deeter (Sprint Cars), Lucas Canon (Sportsman Modifieds), Brendan Warner (Pro Mods), and Kaden Michael (Stock Cars).
Matt Latta started in the Crate Late Model division in 2011 and in 2022 ran his first full season on the RUSH Late Model Tour finishing fifth in points. In 2021, Latta co-founded 3C Graphix. Over the past two years, 3C has awarded wraps for various RUSH Series Manufacturers Nights presented by MSD Performance in addition to presenting the "Battle of the Bay Speedweeek".
