SWEENEY RUSH SERIES & PACE PERFORMANCE TO HAVE LARGE PRESENCE AT UPCOMING PARTS PEDDLER SHOW IN SYRACUSE, EMIG TO SPEAK AT RPM WORKSHOPS AT PRI IN INDY & DAYTONA IN UPCOMING MONTHS

November 4, 2014                 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Pulaski, PA)...After completing a successful second year of operating the Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Racing Series, Directors Vicki Emig and Mike Leone have already been in the planning stages for the 2015 season- year number three for the Sweeney RUSH Late Models and year number two for the Sweeney RUSH Sportsman Modifieds.  With that said, the busy offseason will include a significant presence at the National Parts Peddler Show in Syracuse, NY along with conducting seminars at the Performance Racing Industry show in Indianapolis, IN, and the RPM Promoter's Workshop in Daytona Beach, FL.

For the second consecutive year, RUSH will have a display booth at the National Parts Peddler Racers Auction and Trade Show in Syracuse, New York November 21-23 held at the New York State Fairgrounds.  Pace Performance will join RUSH with a large display featuring various types of crate engines giving both a large presence at the event.  Check out their website at www.partspeddler.us for more info.

"It's no secret Crate Late Models have really begun to grow in the state of New York," stated Leone.  "Last year we met many of our northern racers, talked to several other speedway promoters, and made additional corporate product contacts.  We felt this show was an overwhelming success for RUSH in just our first visit and believe that the addition of Pace Performance as part of our display should make a huge impact to those attending on the importance and significance of crate racing in sport now and into the future."

The Pace Performance booth will have the presence of Pace Performance chief engine outfitter Stacy Neubecker and also Chuck Fitch, the man who controls it all with OE and aftermarket visions that compliment the entire program.  The Pace Performance display trailer has been implemented in 2014 in an effort to inform the performance enthusiasts of GM performance options available through OE equipment and aftermarket upgrades.  The display trailer carries multiple engine options including “cut apart” engines so that viewers may actually see what the internal components look like in different applications.  Pace Performance also brings a team of experts to explain in detail the engine options as well as aftermarket upgrades with accessories.

Not only will RUSH be working hard at continuing to obtain sponsors and product giveaways for programs for both Series Manufacturers Nights at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show December 11-13 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, but this year has been asked to participate in two pre-event seminars as part of the RPM Promoters Workshops on December 10.

The first seminar at 2 p.m. will be "The State of the Crate" as Emig and Leone will join Bill Martens of Chevrolet Performance and others to discuss crate racing throughout the country.  The second at 3:30 will be the "Leading Ladies of Racing" and have Emig join other well known females that currently work in the racing industry.  These seminars will also take place at the annual RPM Promoters Workshops in Daytona Beach on February 16 or 17, 2015.

"It's quite an honor to once again be asked to participate in these RPM Promoters Workshops," acknowledged Emig.  "We were fortunate enough to be included a few years ago in Reno, Nevada and Daytona doing a presentation on promoting and speedway marketing, so it'll be great to be part of the new Workshops at Indy and then return to Daytona again in February to speak on these new topics."

The 2014 Sweeney RUSH Racing Series Awards Banquet and dinner will be held on Saturday, January 17- also at Gatherings Banquet Center.  RUSH will distribute approximately $80,000 between the RUSH Late Models and the new RUSH Sportsman Modifieds.  More information will be made available in the coming weeks.
