RAIN WASHES OUT SATURDAY'S HOVIS RUSH LATE MODEL FLYNN'S TIRE/GUNTER'S HONEY TOUR FOR THE 2ND STRAIGHT WEEK AT STATELINE; "BILL LAW MEMORIAL" RESCHEDULED FOR MAY 23

(Busti, NY)...Despite a valiant effort, several rounds of rain coupled with damp conditions didn't allow the track crew to get the surface into raceable conditions forcing Stateline Speedway to pull the plug late Saturday evening.  The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Touring Series will now try for the third time to complete the "Bill Law Memorial" on Saturday, May 23 along with a $5,000 to-win Super Late Model event.  This will join up with the already scheduled Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Touring Series event on Sunday (May 24) at Tri-City Raceway Park. 

Saturday's rain out at Stateline marked the fifth in six tries to open the season for the Flynn's Tire Gunter's Honey Touring Series, and was Stateline's fourth rain out in four tries.  Before the rescheduled "Bill Law Memorial" on May 23, the Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Tour will be in action on Sunday (May 17) at Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pa. for a $4,000 to-win event.  Pits open at 3:30 p.m. with the drivers meeting scheduled for 5:45 p.m.
