Darrell Bossard picked up the win on Friday night at Raceway 7 in Conneaut Ohio, out dueling Matt Latta, Breyton Santee, Khole Wanzer and Kyle Zimmerman for his third win of the season. Racing continues this Friday night with military vets with ID admitted free!

At Outlaw Speedway on Friday night, Chad Homan took the wins in both the heat and feature of the RUSH Dirt Late Model event.  It was Homan's second straight win and third of the season at the Dundee, NY oval.  Brian Knowles and Brad Smith rounded out the top three.

The RUSH Late Models made their fourth appearance of the season on Friday night at Delaware’s Georgetown Speedway.  After two third place finishes, Matt Hill picked up his second straight victory backing up his win on May 4th.  His most recent win came over fellow front row starter Amanda Whaley.  David Pettyjohn, Billy Thompson and Zac Weller were third through fifth. The next scheduled RUSH Late Model race on the season at Georgetown will be on October 26th.

The RUSH Sprints were part of the "Sprintacular" show on Friday night at Lernerville Speedway in their fourth appearance of the season.  Chad Ruhlman hasn't been able to compete in all of the events this season due to work obligations, but heading into Friday night the Bemus Point, NY driver had won three of the four races he's competed in.  Friday though was Ruhlman's first visit to Lernerville and he'd lead all 15 laps for the victory.  Arnie Kent was second over Brandon Hawkins, Gale Ruth, Jr., and Zach Morrow. 

On Saturday night at Stateline Speedway, Ruhlman made it a clean sweep of the weekend and clean sweep of both RUSH races held at Stateline taking the $600 win.  Ruhlman has now won five of the six races he's run in with his only blemish being a second place at Tri-City.  Kent was second for the second straight night.  Tyler Powell turned in his season's best effort in third. Ruth was fourth for the second straight night with Brandon Hawkins fifth.

The RUSH Pro Mods meanwhile competed in just their second race of the season and it was defending RUSH Weekly Series Champion, Dennis Lunger, Jr., making it two-for-two.  First year Pro Mod racer, Adam Ashcroft, was once again second with Scott Gurdak, Chad Carlson, and Justin Carlson rounding out the top five.   The RUSH Pro Mods will return to action on Saturday night along with the RUSH Late Models, who have only been able to race once this season.

Daryl Charlier’s dominance came to an end on Saturday night at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in suburban Pittsburgh as Whitehall, Pa. resident Michael Reft scored his first of the 2018 campaign.  Reft held off a 27-car field that included at stacked top five of Justin Lamb, Charlier, Garrett Paugh and rookie Logan Zarin. Racing resumes this Saturday night at PPMS with a jam-packed eight division show which includes the RUSH Late Models and the RUSH Sportsman Modifieds for their fourth visit of the season.

Saturday at Fulton Speedway, Bret Belden picked up his first career win in the RUSH Late Models.  The former Stock Car racer came out on top over Justin Parkhurst, Dale Caswell, Kevan Cook and Chris Fleming. A regular card of racing is on tap for the Fulton, New York this Saturday, including an appearance by the Empire Sprint Series.

RUSH Late Model racing action at Genesee Speedway on Saturday saw Jason Genco pull off his second win of the season.  After starting on the pole, Genco lost the lead to Bill Holmes who led for 16 of the 25 laps. Genco would get by Holmes on a lap 17 restart and cruise to the win. “The top is always so good here and he left the door open and I had to take it,” said Genco in victory lane.  “(Holmes) and I talked after and he knew he left it open so I was glad to go get it.”  Holmes held on for second.  Doug Ricotta had his best result of the year, finishing in third, with Jon Rivers and David Pangrazio completing the top five.  Racing returns to Genesee Speedway on July 14.

Andy Michael was able to collect his first win of the season on Saturday night at McKean County Family Raceway.  Brad Mesler was second.  J.D. Chamberlain was a season best third over Paul Grigsby and Kyle Zimmerman.

Saturday night at Delaware International Speedway, Kerry King used the night off for the Super Late Models to jump in a RUSH Late Model and go on to take the win.  Charles Shawver and Jimmy Jesmer, Jr., battled side-by-side for the first seven circuits. King would use the rest of the race to move to the lead and hold off all comers including keeping the lead for a late green-white-checkered finish over Matt Hill, Billy Thompson, Amanda Whaley, and Sparky White.  The RUSH Late Models return to action at Delaware this Saturday night.

Saturday night at Sharon Speedway, the RUSH Sportsman Modifieds were back in action and three time division winner Garrett Krummert picked up his first Sharon Speedway win adding to his pair at Pittsburgh and one at Tri City Raceway Park.  Krummert, a Big Block Modified racer, has been finding success in the RUSH Sportsman Mods in just his first season in the division.  On Saturday, he bested a 24-car field that included some of the biggest names in the division. When the checkers flew, he crossed under the flagstand with a nearly two second lead over Alan Dellinger.  Justin Shea, Rocky Kugel and Kole Holden were third through fifth.  

On the asphalt Saturday night, the three Jennerstown Speedway RUSH divisions were in action. In the Late Models, Gary Wiltrout scored the win over Joe Maruca, Mike Hemminger, Rick Boyer and Jeremiah Kuntz. In the RUSH Asphalt Modifieds, Anthony Aiello picked up another win in his rookie season in the division. Aiello won in convincing fashion over Tom Golik Jason Busch Gary Scott and Dustin Gursky. In the third RUSH Asphalt Division action Josh Coughenour picked up the win, besting Mel Wilt, Rick Meehlieb, Aaron VanFleet and Lauren Butler. Saturday July 7, 2018, Jennerstown Speedway’s five division “Motor Mountain Mania” will be joined by the Super Cup Stock Series tour.

On Sunday, it was a Canada Day special at Port Colborne, Ontario’s Humberstone Speedway.  Charlie Sandercock would pull off the win in the RUSH Late Model event.  He would take the win over Chad Homan, Colton Ledingham, Kyle Sopaz and Adam Ferri. A full card of racing this Sunday at Humberstone for the Bob St. Amand Sr. Memorial Night.

Also Sunday, Bradford Speedway in North Central Pennsylvania, saw one of the most hotly contested races of the year in the RUSH Late Model division.  Eventual winner Brad Mesler, Damian Bidwell and Jeff Hoffman were all in contention for the lead during the race. The top three ended in that order while Joe Watson and Ward Schell rounded out the top five.

In RUSH Pro Mod action, Jeremy Wonderling took the win over Chad Carlson, Nate Hartzell, Adam Peterson and Justin Carlson. Bradford returns to racing this Sunday with Fan Appreciation Night and a full “Five Star” racing program.

At Eriez Speedway, Max Blair made it a perfect three-for-three in 2018 RUSH Late Model events at the Sunday night track.  Fresh off Saturday night's win at Genesee, Jason Genco was a solid second over Scott Gurdak, Kyle Zimmerman, and Breyton Santee in his first Eriez start.  Blair will look for his fourth straight win this Sunday night. 

This Friday night (July 6), the RUSH Late Models make their second of three appearances to Can-Am Speedway in LaFargeville, NY for a $700 to-win, $100 to-start special.  Then on Sunday will be the first ever RUSH Late Model show at Skyline Raceway Park in Cortland, NY, which will pay $1,000 to-win, $100 to-start. 

The RUSH Late Models were rained out on June 23 at Winchester, had the night off on June 30, but will return to action this Saturday night.

Expo Speedway hosts the annually Trumbull County Fair races on July 11-12.  Wednesday will be the RUSH Late Models in a $1,500 to-win Sweeney Touring Series event along with the RUSH Sportsman Modifieds in a $600 to-win Bicknell Touring Series event.  The Mods will be back on Thursday racing for $800 to-win in another Bicknell Tour event. 

Monday night, the RUSH Sportsman Modifieds were back in action as a support race for the Lucas Oil Late Model show on a very threatening night at Sharon Speedway.  Jeremy Weaver took his number #35W to the win in the 20-lap $600 to-win special event. Weaver held off a strong 24-car field for his first career Sharon win and second overall. Garrett Krummert, Josh Deems, Rocky Kugel and Justin Shea made up the balance of the top five.   The RUSH Sportsman Modifieds will take the next two Saturdays off from Sharon as they will compete in the “Modified Madness” show at PPMS.
