June 30, 2026               FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Busti, NY)...The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Dirt Late Model Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Touring Series will return to Stateline Speedway this Saturday night (July 4) for the second and finial visit of 2026 to celebrate Independence Day.  Event #6 of the weather-plagued season will pay $4,000 to-win.  Warm-ups will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by qualifying with heat races scheduled for 7.  A huge fireworks display will take place part of the "America 250" event, and it's also "Manufacturers Night" presented by MSD Performance for the RUSH Pro Mod division.

Saturday will be the second appearance in the past three weeks as the Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Tour was finally able to complete the "Bill Law Memorial" on June 13 after three consecutive rainouts in May.  This will be the second consecutive year that Stateline will host a second Tour event in addition to the "Bill Law Memorial".

The Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Tour has made 10 visits all-time to Stateline.  The only multiple winner is Jeremy Wonderling, who won four "Bill Law Memorial" events from 2017-2023; however, Wonderling has been shutout of victory lane for more than three years now in Tour events at Stateline.  Drivers with single victories include Damian Bidwell (2018), Joe Martin (2022), Brock Pinkerous (2024), Max Blair, (2025), Bryce Davis (2025), and most recently Ben Easier, who won his first career Tour event on June 13, 2026.

In addition to Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Touring Series points being awarded, Colussy Chevrolet National Weekly Series points will also be on the line in addition to RUSH Track Pack points.  The top six drivers in RUSH Weekly Series member points at the conclusion of the season will share $2,500 with $1,000 going to the champion.  Jake Wilber currently leads the Track Pack points over Randy Hall.  Since the five straight rainouts to begin 2026, Stateline has completed three Colussy Chevrolet Weekly Series events in addition to the "Bill Law Memorial".  Jeremy Wonderling won the May 30 opener over a 29-car field.  On June 6, Ian Travis won his first career RUSH Late Model feature, and Wilber won the most recent race on June 20

"We have to thank Bill Catania of Stateline for his unwavering support of RUSH," acknowledged RUSH Director Vicki Emig.  "Stateline not only runs our RUSH Late Models weekly and hosts two Tour events, but also runs our RUSH Pro Mods and RUSH Stock Cars on a weekly basis in addition to two events for the RUSH Sprint Cars.  Stateline has one of the highest weekly car counts every year for our RUSH Late Models with great counts for our Tour events."

There have been five different winners in the first five Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Touring Series events of 2026.  Kyle Hardy won the $5,000 opener at Georgetown Speedway for the 2021 Series Champion's 15th career Tour victory.  Wonderling the five-time Series Champion, won his third Eriez Tour event in the last six races on May 17.  Despite forecasts calling for 90% chance of storms on June 6, Sharon Speedway remained dry all day and night as Joe Martin won his first Tour event in nearly three seasons with his third straight victory at Sharon.  And last Saturday night, Max Blair won the $20,000 "Bill Emig Memorial" presented by Sunoco Race Fuels for his all-time leading 37th career Tour win.

Wonderling currently leads the points by 23 over 2025 3C Graphix Rookie-of-the-Year Demetrios Drellos.  Austin Allen has jumped up to third in points over 2024 RoY, Daryl Charlier.  Kurt Stebbins, who leads the 2026 3C Graphix Rookie-of-the-Year standings, is fifth in points just three points ahead of fellow RoY candidate, Christian Schneider.  Easler, Kyle Zimmerman, Jason Knowles, and Brodie Oravetz complete the top 10 in points.

Schneider Trucks will present the "Hottest of the Hot" with $50 going to the driver that turns the fastest lap in hot laps.  $100 "Shock the Clock" Qualifying and $25 to-win heat races will be presented by FK Rod Ends.  The Sunoco Dash will set the beginning rows of the feature lineup and will award the winner a $100 Sunoco fuel gift card.
