ONE LUCKY SWEENEY RUSH LATE MODEL RACER TO WIN A GM 604 ENGINE VALUED AT OVER $5,500 JULY 6 AT THE SHARON SWEENEY TOUR EVENT

A major highlight of the weekend will be at Sharon on Saturday, July 6 when Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC/Pace Performance will award one lucky competing RUSH racer a brand new GM 604 engine valued at over $5,500!  Competing racers at Sharon will have one to three chances at the engine, which will be done as a random draw later in the program.  Each RUSH driver will receive one chance for competing, a second chance if they are a Sweeney Weekly or Sweeney Touring Series member, and a third chance if they are members of both.

This will be the third annual “Sweeney Night” at Sharon where a brand new GM 604 engine has been awarded to a Crate Late Model driver.  In 2011, Sharon regular Ben Black was the lucky recipient with only one chance amongst the 42 competing racers.  Last year, Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway regular, Paul Jablonski, was selected and ironically had only chance as well amongst the 48 competing drivers.

Who will win this year’s GM 604 engine!?  The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC Touring Series has completed six events to date with four different winners with an average car count of 32 per event.  The events have brought in racers from Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Ontario, Canada!

While the Lernerville event on Friday night (July 5) will pay $1,200 to-win, Saturday’s “Sweeney Night” program will offer $2,000 to-win!  The Bobby Lake Motorsports “Shock the Clock & Beat the Heat” Quick Cash Programs will be in effect at Sharon with $100 going to the fast qualifier and $25 to each heat race winner.  More on this weekend will be posted in the near future.
