(Pulaski, PA)...It’s difficult to believe but we are heading into the closing months of weekly Hovis Auto and Truck Supply RUSH Racing Series action presented by Born2Run Lubricants. Several tracks rewarded RUSH Late Model Colussy Chevrolet Weekly Series competitors with increased purses as Dave Hess, Jr. (Raceway 7), Matt Hill (Georgetown Speedway), and Devin Brannon (Winchester Speedway) tallied wins.  Dave Shagla, Jr. garnered his career first RUSH Pro Mod win at Stateline Speedway, while William Baker, Jr. continues to add to his win total in RUSH Stock Car action.  Blaze Myers and John Mollick split the wins in Hovis RUSH Sprint Car Rustler Sales & Service Weekly Serie action.

The “Dave Levesque Memorial” featured the RUSH Late Models in Colussy Chevrolet Weekly Series action on Friday at Raceway 7.  Kyle Zimmerman and Dave Hess, Jr. would show the way to the green with Hess taking the top spot.  Hess. led the entire distance of the 25-lap feature event to score his first divisional win of the season and a $1,500 payday.  Zimmerman came home in the runner-up position with Jeff Watson, Ben Easler and Cory Sines completing the top five.

RUSH Late Model competitors at the Georgetown Speedway were in action for the annual Camp Barnes Benefit event.  Matt Hill took command at the start and led the event “wire to wire” to score his second victory of the season at the Delaware oval and the $1,500 paycheck.  Georgia’ Austin Yarbrough finished second in his RUSH debut with Trevor Collins getting third. Kyle Hardy and Nick Davis rounded out the top five.

Hovis Auto and Truck Supply RUSH Late Model Colussy Chevrolet Weekly Series action at The Dirt Track at Genesee saw the top two point men, Dave DuBois and Doug Ricotta, bring the field to the green. DuBois led the way with Ricotta and Bill Holmes following.  Both Ricotta and Holmes would fade before breaking while fourth place starter J.J. Mazur patiently waited and worked his way into second.  Misfortune then struck DuBois as he went over the berm in turns one and two to draw the caution and give the lead to Mazur.  Mazur led the final five laps to take home the victory and become the 10th different winner in 10 events held at the speedway this season.  It was also Mazur’s first win since the 2021 season after taking the last year years off. Eighth place starter Paul Grigsby finished second with Bill Taylor in third. Austin Hauser and Billy DuBois rounded out the top five.

RUSH Late Model action at Stateline Speedway saw Hunter Proctor lead the first four laps while Kurt Stebbins and Jeremy Wonderling, who started eighth and ninth respectively, worked their way to the front. Stebbins took lead on lap five with Wonderling getting the second position on lap six. The duo battled for the top spot for the remainder of the 20-lap event with Wonderling using the top side of the speedway while Stebbins found superior traction in the middle and bottom grooves. At the checkered flag it was Stebbins earning his first career Stateline victory by 0.859 seconds over Wonderling.  Brendan Warner, Ian Travis, and Ward Schell completed the top five.

RUSH Late Model action at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway saw Anthony Monteparte and Tom Klein lead the field to green. Klein powered into the lead with Brandon Burgoon following in second. The field slowed on lap 11 when Monteparte spun to bring out the caution. When racing action resumed Klein and Burgoon battled for the lead with Klein maintaining a slim lead. Burgoon’s opportunity to take the top spot came on lap 19 and the McDonald, PA driver went on to score the win, which was his third of the season at the Imperial, PA oval. Klein had to settle for second with Ben Easler finishing third. Daryl Charlier and Matt Benard rounded out the top five.

Devin Brannon continued his winning ways at Winchester Speedway as he tallied his seventh RUSH Late Model win of the season at the speedway on Saturday- this one worth $1,500 in the Colussy Chevrolet Weekly Series special.  Davin Kaiser finished second with Kris Hutton third. Bubby Tharp, Jr., and Brayden Armel finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

Hovis RUSH Late Model Colussy Chevrolet Weekly Series action at Woodhull Raceway was led to the green by Mike Wonderling and Garrett Heffner. Wonderling led the first three laps until his car pushed up in turn three giving Steve LeBarron the opportunity to grab the lead. LeBarron led the remainder of the 20-lap event to score a 0.994 second victory over Wonderling.  It was LeBarron’s fourth win of 2026.  Heffner was a career best third over Russ King Racing Futures Cup driver Wyatt White.  Austin Allen was fifth.

Hovis RUSH Sprint Car teams has two nights of Rustler Sales and Service Weekly Series action on tap. They began their weekend at Tri-City Raceway Park on Friday with Gale Ruth, Jr. taking the lead at the start and building up a 2.5 second over the remainder of the field. The event’s lone caution flew on lap six when Owen James slowed. On the restart Blaze Myers was right on Ruth’s tail before getting the lead on lap nine. In the closing laps of the main event Myers pulled away to score his fifth win of the season over Ruth.  Fifteen-year-old Logen Lockhart had a great run to finish a career best third in the Sprint Cars one race after a prior best of fourth at Lernerville.  Russ King Racing Futures Cup points leader, Grayson Bayle, was fourth.  Another teenager, Brayden Blackshear, completed the top five.

RUSH Sprint Car teams then headed to another half-mile track on Saturday in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Devon Deeter and rookie Ashton Riggle led the field to green, but it was third place starter Gale Ruth, Jr. who would lead the first lap. John Mollick took the top spot on lap two and the veteran duo led the field for the early part of the main event. By lap 10, Mollick had built up a half a straightaway lead and Wyatt Long overtook Ruth for second. At the checkered flag it was Mollick scoring his sixth win of the season in divisional action over Long, Ruth, Riggle and Samantha Priest.

The lone Hovis RUSH Pro-Mod event took place Saturday at Stateline Speedway.  Dave Shagla, Jr. started on the pole and led the entire distance of the 15-lap event to score his career first divisional victory.  Shagla became the season’s fifth different winner in seven events.  The last three Pro Mod races have seen Victor Earle, Jr. win his first at Stateline, Trenton Curry become the youngest winner in RUSH Pro Mod history, and now another new winner in Shagla!  Cody VanGuilder came home a career best second with Nick Arnold finishing third. Greg Marsh and Al Brewer finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

RUSH Stock Car competitors began the weekend at Tri-City Raceway Park with William Baker, Jr. once again scoring the win. The win was Baker’s tenth in his last 11 starts and his fifth straight of the season.  Second generation racer Cole Laskey finished a career best second with Robby Switzer, Jim Buchanan and Raiddan Wilson finished third through fifth. Baker also captured the win Saturday at Stateline Speedway for his first of 2026 at the Busti, NY oval.  Baker won convincingly by 5.388 second over a career best finish by David McAvoy. Wilson, Cole Strickland, and Laskey followed in third through fifth.

RUSH Late Model and Stock Car action scheduled for Eriez Speedway was rained out and RUSH Sportsman Modified competitors had the weekend off.

RUSH Late Model Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Touring Series action will visit Marion Center Raceway for the first time in two years on Saturday before heading north to Eriez Speedway on Sunday. Both events will pay $4,000 to win. The Eriez event is also “Manufacturers Night” presented by MSD Performance with more than $33,000 in valuable products distributed to the competitors in attendance.

After a night off, Dog Hollow Speedway will return to action on Friday with a $1,200 to-win RUSH Late Model Colussy Chevrolet Weekly Series special.  Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, Winchester Speedway and Woodhull Raceway will also be in action Saturday.

Predicted rain has already washed-out RUSH Late Model and RUSH Sportsman Modified action at Raceway 7 along with Friday’s RUSH Sprint Car event at Stateline Speedway.  The RUSH Sprints will visit Mercer for the second time this season on Saturday night. 

RUSH Stock Car competitors will also make their first ever appearance at Michael’s Mercer Raceway Park on Saturday and then join their RUSH Late Model counterparts for their “Manufacturers Night” presented by MSD Performance on Sunday at Eriez Speedway. RUSH Stock Car competitors in attendance will be eligible for $9,000 in valuable product giveaways.

Hovis Auto and Truck Supply RUSH Pro Mod competitors will be off.
