FRIDAY NIGHT'S HOVIS RUSH LATE MODEL FLYNN'S TIRE TOUR EVENT AT DOG HOLLOW CANCELLED DUE TO FORECASTED STORMS; "JOOK GEORGE STEEL CITY CLASSIC" IS SATURDAY AT PITTSBURGH FOR A MINIMUM OF $6010 TO-WIN

(Northern Cambria, PA)...With thunderstorms forecasted throughout the day, Dog Hollow Speedway management made the decision to pull the plug on Friday night's Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Dirt Late Model Flynn's Tire Touring Series event.  It marked the second cancellation as the originally scheduled event on July 1 at Dog Hollow was also lost to Mother Nature.  

The Flynn's Tour will be at Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway on Saturday night (August 6) as the "Jook George Steel City Classic" presented by Nex-Gen Outdoor Services will pay a minimum $6,010 to-win, $500 to-start.  The D&V Jewelers Non-Qualifier will pay $500 to-win.  In addition, if the winning driver/car owner financially contributed to the event, he or she will win a $1,000 bonus and be eligible for three $100 cash drawings.  RUSH registration will open at 3 p.m. with the drivers meeting at 5:35.  Warmups are slated for 6 p.m. followed by FK Rod Ends "Shock the Clock" qualifying and heat races at 7.  The event will be broadcast live on Lernerville TV (https://dirt.tv).  The rain date is Sunday.
