(Pulaski, PA)...It was another perfect weekend as all of the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Racing Series presented by Born2Run Lubricants action scheduled was completed without any interruptions from Mother Nature. The weekend also showcased the RUSH Late Model Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Touring Series in two action packed events at Stateline and Eriez Speedways that also saw two drivers (Bryce Davis and Dave Hess, Jr.) score their first Tour victories of the season. Darin Gallagher added his name to the RUSH Sportsman Modified record book as he tallied his career first win at Sharon Speedway while Blaze Myers and John Mollick added to their win totals in Hovis RUSH Sprint Car Billy’s Garage Weekly Series action.

 

The Dirt Track at Genesee hosted a Thursday evening event that featured two RUSH Late Model feature events. The first main event was the completion of the rainout from earlier this season.  David Pangrazio and Kevin Smith led the field to green. Pangrazio drove a great race to score the win over Jake Wilber. Doug Ricotta, Paul Grigsby, and Dave DuBois followed.  The second RUSH main event saw Ricotta grab the early lead as sixth place starter Jimmy Johnson slowed worked his way to the front. By lap 11, Johnson passed Grigsby for the second spot and began to reel in Ricotta. On lap 15, Ricotta got hung up behind a slower car which gave Johnson the opportunity he needed to pass Ricotta. Johnson then went on to lead the final five circuits and score his second victory of the season at the speedway. Dubois, Grigsby, and Wilber rounded out the top five.

 

RUSH Late Model action at Raceway 7 Friday saw last week’s winner, Billy Henry, Jr. lead the first 18 laps of the A-Main before Breyton Santee got the top spot. Santee went on to lead the final two circuits to score his first victory at the speedway in 2025. As Henry was battling Santee on the final lap, he attempted to avoid a slower car and hit a yuke tire in turn one, which ended his night. Logan Stockdale, Bud Watson, Jeff Watson, and Jamie Wrightsman completed the top five.

 

Mike Laughard also captured his fourth victory of the 2025 season Friday at Dog Hollow Speedway. Laughard has been victorious in four of his last seven starts. Tom Snyder, Davin Kaiser, Marino Angelicchio and Leo Iarrapino rounded out the top five.

 

Georgetown Speedway returned to action Friday evening. Matt Hill led the entire distance of the 20-lap main event to score his first win of 2025 over Trevor Collins by 3.366 seconds. Ben Scott, Nick Davis, and Joey Warren completed the top five.

 

RUSH Late Model City Chevrolet Weekly Series action at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway saw pole sitter Brandon Burgoon lead the entire distance of the 20-lap main event to tally his fourth victory of the season at the speedway. Zach Gunn came home in second with Mike Reft finishing third. Tom Klein and Kassidy Kamicker rounded out the top five.

 

RUSH Late Model City Chevrolet Weekly Series action at Woodhull Raceway saw Brett Marlatt score his fifth victory of the season at the New York oval.  Marlatt started on the pole and never looked back as he had a straightaway lead over second place finisher, Steve Lebarron, at the checkered. Rickie Loucks finished third, with Wyatt White fourth and Marshall O’Brian fifth.

 

Devin Brannon was another repeat winner in Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Weekly Series action.  Brannon tallied his fourth win of the season in the 20-lap event Saturday evening at Winchester Speedway.  Tyler Hoy came in second with Travis Campbell getting third. Davin Kaiser and Isaiah Gochenour completed the top five.

 

Tyler County Speedway also had two Hovis RUSH Late Model City Chevriolet Weekly Series main events part of the Dave Poske’s Performance Parts Mid-Ohio Valley Series on the schedule as well. In the main event that was postponed from July 19th, Logan Reed led the event “wire to wire” to score the win over AJ Spagnuolo. George Casto III, Robbie Scott and Brian Nethers rounded out the top five. Reed also led the entire distance of the regularly scheduled event to tally win #2 of the night over Kyle Thomas. Spagnuolo, Casto III, and Jim Cochran.

 

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Touring Series action returned to Stateline Speedway for its second and final visit of the season on Saturday. A strong field of 42 competitors was on hand and for the first time in Series history a New York state racer won all of the events contested that evening.Bryce Davis passed teammate Austin Allen in the Dash to earn the pole for the main event. The Canisteo, NY driver then went on to lead the entire distance of the 30-lap feature to score a $4,000 payday. Allen scored his career best Tour finish to come home in the second position. Demetrios Drellos piloted a brand-new Rocket Chassis to finish third with Dave Hess, Jr., and Jason Genco completing the top five.

 

On Sunday USH Late Model Touring Series action moved to Eriez Speedway for the annual "Manufacturers Night". Fifty-two teams from six states and Canada were in attendance to share in more than $34,000 in contingency awards. Bryce Davis led the first ten laps before a yellow for Demetrios Drellos slowed the field. Dave Hess, Jr. used the top of the speedway on the ensuing restart to take the lead, which was also the winning move of the feature event. Hess went on to lead the remainder of the A-Main and score his career first victory in RUSH Touring Series action. Kyle Hardy claimed the second spot with Davis falling to third at the finish. Jeremy Wonderling and Austin Allen completed the top five.

 

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Sportsman Modified teams competed in “Route 7 Rumble” Series action. The weekend began at Raceway 7 Friday evening with Chas Wolbert and Doug Rutana leading the field to the green. Wolbert led the entire distance of the 20-lap main event to remain undefeated at the speedway in 2025. The win was also Wolbert’s 11th of the season as he held off the late race challenge of Kole Holden for the victory. Todd English, Doug Rutana and Jacob Rutana completed the top five.

 

The next evening the RUSH Sportsman Modified teams made the short trek down Route 7 to Sharon Speedway. Doug Rutana led the first three laps before fifth place starter Darin Gallagher took the lead and went on to a 7.367 second victory. The win was Gallagher’s first ever in RUSH Sportsman Modified action as well as his first at Sharon Speedway.  Rutana held on to the runner-up spot for his career best finish at the speedway. Kole Holden, Chas Wolbert and JC Boyer followed.

 

The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Sprint Car teams began the weekend at Tri-City Raceway Park on Friday evening as a season high and a Tri-City record 26 cars were on hand for “Manufacturers Night” presented by MSD Performance. Two red flags slowed the feature event as both Zach Wilson and last week’s winner, Luke Mulichak, flipped. Blaze Myers made a three-wide pass to get by Ricky Tucker III and Curt Emings on lap three and went on to score Victory Number Seven of the season in Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Sprint Car Billy's Garage Weekly Series action. The win also moved Myers into the lead of the Billy's Garage Weekly Series points. Wyatt Long came from the 11th position to finish second, with 12th place starter Trent Marshall finishing third. Tucker III and Arnie Kent rounded out the top five.

 

The following evening RUSH Sprint car action moved to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Zach Morrow led the first lap before fourth place starter John Mollick took command. Mollick led the remainder of the 15-lap event to pick up his fifth victory of the season in divisional action. Wyatt Long came home in second with Morrow getting third. Trent Marshall and Brandon Shughart finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

 

The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Pro Mod teams were in action Saturday evening at Stateline Speedway. Tyler Oakes tallied his second victory of the season at the New York oval as he held off the challenges of veteran Al Brewer in the closing stages of the main event. Josh Wilcox, Nick Arnold, and Cody Rickard completed the top five.

 

On Sunday evening the Pro Mod teams travelled to Bradford Speedway. Steve Dixon powered by last week’s winner Ian Degolier in the opening laps and went on to score the win. Josh Canfield, Al Brewer, and Dean Ingalls rounded out the top five.

 

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Stock Car action featured three nights of racing action with three different winners. The teams began the weekend at Tri-City Raceway Park Friday evening. Billy Myers dominated the event to tally his fourth win of the season at the Venango County facility. Raiddan Wilson came home in second with Darr Diegelman getting third. William Baker, Jr, and Jim Buchanon completed the top five.

 

Saturday evening the RUSH Stock Car action continued at Stateline Speedway. Raiddan Wilson came from the sixth position and capitalized on the misfortune of Alex Bush and Kaden Michel to score the victory. Cole Strickland came in second with Ken Moore, Sr. finishing third. Darr Diegleman and Bush finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

 

On Sunday evening the RUSH Stock Car teams competed in their “Manufacturers Night.” A record number 15 teams were in attendance and shared in more than $9,000 in valuable products. Eighth place starter William Baker, Jr. came away with the victory as he defeated Kaden Michael, Raiddan Wilson, Blaze Harrison and Mark Lawrence.

 

Another full weekend of action for the various Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH divisions is on tap again.This weekend’s Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet Weekly action includes Dog Hollow Speedway, and Raceway 7 on Friday.  The Dirt Track at Genesee, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, Stateline Speedway, Tyler County Speedway and Woodhull Raceway will be in action Saturday evening. The rained-out Mike Reed Memorial feature event, which is the remainder of the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Dirt Late Model Flynn's Tire/Gunter's Honey Touring Series from July 20th, will begin the Sunday racing action at Bradford Speedway. In addition, a $2,000 to win City Chevrolet Weekly Series special event is also on tap.  Eriez Speedway will also be in action on Sunday.          

 

RUSH Sprint Car Billy's Garage Weekly Series action is scheduled for Friday at Tri-City Raceway Park and Saturday at Sharon Speedway..

 

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Sportsman Modified teams will visit Raceway 7 on Friday and then join the RUSH Sprint Car teams at Sharon Speedway on Saturday.

 

RUSH Pro-Mod action is scheduled at Stateline Speedway on Saturday and Bradford Speedway on Sunday.

 

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Rush Stock Car teams have another three days of action planned this weekend with racing scheduled at Tri-City Raceway Park on Friday, Stateline Speedway on Saturday and Eriez Speedway on Sunday.

 

The summer of 2025 may be winding down but the RUSH racing action is still heating up so visit a track or two near you to join in the excitement.
