(Pulaski, PA)...The Labor Day weekend had lots of exciting Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH racing action throughout the region. Kyle Hardy hadn’t visited victory lane in RUSH Dirt Late Model action this year until two weeks ago, but he captured both Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Dirt Late Model Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Series this past weekend. Christian Schneider tallied two wins in the Twin 20-lap events held at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway.  Blaze Myers also swept the action in Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Born2Run Lubricants Billy’s Garage RUSH Sprint Car scoring two wins at Tri-City Raceway Park. William Baker, Jr. captured the biggest payday of his career as withstood the persistent challenges of Camron Kramer in RUSH Stock Car action at Tri-City Raceway Park while Chas Wolbert (RUSH Sportsman Modified) and Al Brewer (RUSH Pro-Mods) added to their win totals.

Joey Warren scored his first Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model victory in nearly three years at Georgetown Speedway’s Camp Barnes City Chevrolet Weekly Series special last Tuesday.  Warren led the first lap before Trevor Collins took command. Warren then regained the lead on lap 12 and went on to lead the remainder of the 20-lap event for the $1,727 payday. Nick Davis finished second with Steve Davis third. Matt Hill and Greg Carico completed the top five.

Two RUSH Late Model events were on the schedule at Dog Hollow Speedway.  The first was the makeup from July 25 and Devin Kaiser scored the win over Tom Snyder. Mike Laughard, Joe Zulisky, and Leo Iarrapino completed the top five.  Kaiser also claimed the win in the regularly scheduled event to bring his RUSH Late Model victory total to 11. Snyder once again claimed the second spot with Mike Duritsky finishing third. Iarrapino and Avery McMillen rounded out the top five.

Breyton Santee led the first ten circuits in RUSH Late Model action at Raceway 7 on Friday before a mechanical problem caused him to slow and bring out the caution. Billy Henry inherited the lead and went on to lead the final ten circuits of the event to score the win. The victory, which was Henry’s fifth of the season at the track, also secured the 2025 track and City Chevrolet Track Pack championship for him. Bud Watson got second with Logan Stockdale finishing third.  Santee came from the rear to finish in fourth with Will Pinckney rounding out the top five.

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Dirt Late Model Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Series competitors were in action at Tri-City Raceway Park on Friday.  Daryl Charlier, who ended a three-year winless drought when the Series visited in May, led the first 12 laps before Kyle Hardy made the winning pass for the lead as the two battled in lapped traffic. Hardy then fended off the late race challenges of Christian Schneider to score his first Touring Series win in more than two years and four months by a mere 0.585 seconds. Hardy pocketed $4,000 for the win and became the ninth different winner in the 12 Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Tour events held this season. Jeremy Wonderling came home in third with Ryan Hare getting his career best Tour finish in fourth. Charlier completed the top five.

John Waters and Jacob Wilber led the field to green Saturday at Woodhull Raceway. Waters took command and quickly separated himself from the rest of the field. A lap 18 caution gave Steve LeBarron an opportunity to challenge Waters for the top spot, but he was unable to do so. Waters led the final two las to score his second victory of the season over LeBarron. Brett Marlatt, McKean County Speedway Promoter Kurt Stebbins, and Wilber completed the top five.

It was Season Championship Night at The Dirt Track at Genesee on Saturday. Jimmy Johnson and Paul Grigsby led the field to green with Johnson taking the lead. Johnson soon found himself being challenged for the lead by fifth place starter Jon Rivers. Rivers took control on lap five and weathered several cautions to score his first victory in more than a year. Johnson held on for the runner-up position with Grigsby claiming third. Bill Taylor and Matt Tracey rounded out the top five.

Twin 20 lap events were on the card at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday. Fast timer Zach Gunn and Christian Schneider led the first main event to the green.  Schneider took command with Gunn in second and Tommy Schirnhofer third. Schneider opened up a full straightaway lead by lap eight and went on to score the victory in the non-stop event. Mike Reft came home in second with Gunn claiming third. Schirnhofer and Jake Gunn rounded out the top five.

In victory lane Schneider spun the wheel to determine the starting lineup for the second main event and the crowd roared in approval when it stopped on zero. Schneider and Reft led the second 20-lap event to green with Schneider once again taking the lead. Lapped traffic gave Reft an opportunity to close the gap with Schneider, but he was unable to do so. At the finish it was Schneider getting his second victory of the evening. Jake Gunn was able to overtake Reft for the second spot. Reft, Zach Gunn, and Kyle Lukon finished third through fifth.

Kassandra Norman and Jason Genco led the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model feature event to the green Saturday at Stateline Speedway. Genco took the top spot at the green and never looked back as he went on to score a 5.580 second victory over Randy Hall. The win was Genco’s third at Stateline and seventh overall in RUSH Late Model action. David Parker, Rob Middleton, Jr., and William Pinckney rounded out the top five.

On Sunday evening the Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Tour made their final visit of the season at Tyler County Speedway as part of the inaugural “County Roads” event. Max Blair and Jeremy Wonderling led the 26-car field to the green with Blair taking the lead. Blair led the first eight circuits before third place starter Kyle Hardy passed him on a lap nine restart. Hardy went on to fend off Blair’s challenges and score his second consecutive Tour win by 1.373. Sixth place starter Daryl Charlier had a good night as he captured the third spot with Wonderling getting fourth. Ninth place starter Zach Carley completed the top five and continues to close the gap on Demetrios Drellos in the battle for the 3C Graphix Rookie-of-the-Year battle.

Sunday evening Kurt Stebbins used the high side of the speedway in RUSH Late Model action at Bradford Speedway to charge by half of the field. Stebbins then battled with Jacob Wilber to take the checkered and tally his second win of the season in Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Model Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet Weekly Series action. Ward Schell, Jacob Tubbs, and Garrett Mott followed at the finish.

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Born2Run Lubricants Billy’s Garage RUSH Sprint Car teams spent the Labor Day weekend at Tri-City Raceway Park. Saturday’s action once again saw Blaze Myers jump into the lead and leave everyone else behind. Myers led the entire distance of the 15-lap event to collect the $800 first place prize.  Zach Morrow, Charlie Utsinger, Ricky Tucker, III, and Devon Deeter rounded out the top five.

Sunday evening’s event saw Myers start on the front row and once again rocket into the lead. Myers led the entire distance of the main event for the second night in a row to score his 11th win of the year at the Franklin, PA oval, and his 16th overall in Series action.  The win was worth a season best $1,000.  Zach Morrow finished in second with Joe Buccola, Cooper Macormac and Wyatt Long following.

Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Pro Mod competitors headed to Stateline Speedway Saturday evening. Tim Peterson and Al Brewer led the field to the green with Brewer taking the top spot. The veteran went on to lead the entire 15 lap distance of the feature event to score his third victory of the season at the speedway and his fifth overall in divisional action this season. Peterson came home in second with Tyler Oakes getting third. Nick Arnold and Cody Rickard rounded out the top five.

Saturday evening at Stateline Speedway Cole Strickland and Darr Diegelman led the field to green. Strickland led the first 11 circuits before third place starter Kaden Michael made a late-race pass to score the win. Strickland came home in the runner-up position with Raiddan Wilson, Diegelman and David McAvoy following.

Sunday evening at Tri-City Raceway Park the RUSH Stock Cars competed in a 20-lap feature that paid $1,000 to win. The front row saw William Baker and Camron Kramer lead the charge to the green; however, a complete restart was needed when Kaden Michael spun in turn one. On the second start, the duo of Baker and Kramer raced into turn one with Baker again pulling ahead. Two more cautions would slow the action before lap two was in the books, but once the race went green, it stayed that way for 19 consecutive laps.  A determined Baker withstood the persistent challenges of Kramer and drove a flawless race to score his third victory of the season at the Venango County speedway.  A disappointed Kramer once again settled for second with Billy Myers finishing third. Raidden Wilson, and Cole Laskey, who notched a season-best fifthplace finish, completed the top five.

The lone Hovis Auto and Truck Supply RUSH Sportsman Modified event of the weekend took place Friday at Raceway 7.  Newly crowned 2025 champion Chas Wolbert led the entire distance of the event to tally his sixth victory of the year at the Conneaut, Ohio oval.  Kole Holden came home in second with Doug Rutana finishing third. Jacob Rutana and Caden Petry completed the top five.
