September 10, 2025               FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Pulaski, PA)…Kyle Hardy captured the victory in the two previous Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Dirt Late Model Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Touring Series events, and he kept that streak alive as he tallied victory #3 when the Series visited Greg Gunter’s Winchester Speedway last Saturday.  Tom Snyder, Jr., Jeremy Wonderling, Brady Wonderling, Brandon Burgoon also tallied wins in Hovis RUSH Late Model City Chevrolet Weekly Series action, while John Mollick captured his ninth win of the season in Hovis RUSH Sprint Car Billy’s Garage Weekly Series action.  The RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, Pro Mods & Stock Cars all had the weekend off.

Hovis RUSH Late Model City Chevrolet Weekly Series action took place at Freedom Motorsports Park for the first time of the 2025 season on Friday night in the running of the “Mike DuClon Memorial”.  Jeremy Wonderling tallied his seventh overall win of the season and also took home the top prize of $2,058.  The victory tied Wonderling with Jason Genco for the lead in the City Chevrolet National Weekly Series.  Bryce Davis was second over Chad Homan, Genco, and Austin Allen.

Tom Snyder, Jr. captured his season’s fifth Dog Hollow Speedway win on Friday night in Hovis RUSH Late Model City Chevrolet Weekly Series action,  Greg Beach made his season debut and was second.  Noah Brunell was a season best third.  Russ King Racing Futures Cup racer, Leo Iarrapino, was fourth.  Mike Laughard, who is battling Snyder for the City Chevrolet Track Pack title, had issues and was unable to start the feature.

It took Kyle Hardy until mid-August to score his first RUSH Late Model victory but since then the Winchester, VA driver has been the hottest driver in the Series. Saturday evening the Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Tour was in action at Winchester Speedway.  Jeremy Wonderling and Hardy led the 25-car field to the green. Hardy and Wonderling quickly separated themselves from the field as they battled for the top spot while fifth place starter Greg Carrico moved into third. Seventh place starter Zach Carley and Mike Franklin entertained the fans as they fought for the fourth position. Cautions slowed the field on laps 14 and 17 but each time the racing resumed Hardy maintained his lead.

Light sprinkles began to fall after the lap 17 restart but that did not slow down Hardy as he had a 2.059 second lead when he caught lapped traffic on lap 27. Just two laps later contact between Carrico and Carley would result in Carley spinning and the caution waving. The event’s final caution waved on lap 33 when Isaiah Gouchenour spun in turn three. During the caution, the rain picked up and the checkered flag waved with 33 of the 40 laps completed. Hardy scored the victory for his third consecutive Tour Series win. Wonderling came home in the second spot with Carrico getting third. Jacob Whitt and Mike Franklin completed the top five.

Brandon Burgoon and Tom Klein paced the RUSH Late Model field to the green at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday for the track’s “Free Night”. Burgoon immediately took the lead until caution slowed the field on lap two. On the restart Klein briefly took the top spot but Burgoon wrestled the lead from him and never looked back. Burgoon dominated the remainder of the 20-lap event to score his fifth victory of the season at the Imperial, PA track. Clinton Hersh came from 11th to finish in the second spot with Klein claiming third. Kassidy Kamicker and Rob Coffaro rounded out the top five.

Sunday evening at Bradford Speedway it was Brady Wonderling who benefitted from Kurt Stebbin’s misfortune to capture the victory. The win was Wonderling’s first at the speedway in 2025 and his fourth overall in RUSH action. Ironically, Stebbins was piloting Jeremy Wonderling’s 3J as his own ride had suffered mechanical woes earlier in the weekend at Freedom Motorsports Park. Jake Wilber came home in the runner-up position followed by brothers John and Dusty Waters.  Garrett Mott was fifth for the fourth straight race.

Hovis RUSH Sprint Car competitors were also in action at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway Saturday evening.  Zach Morrow and CJ McClintock led the field to the green.  Morrow quickly took command with third place starter John Mollick sliding into second. Mollick overtook Morrow on lap four and set a blistering pace for the remainder of the 15-lap event. At the checkered flag it was Mollick scoring his third win in four tries this season and Pittsburgh.  Mollick’s ninth overall win of 2025 came by 1.099 seconds over Morrow, who has now finished runner-up at the last four events. Russ King Racing Futures Cup points leader Wyatt Long came home in third with Trent Marshall getting fourth. Lady racer Samantha Priest, another Futures Cup competitor, completed the top five.

RUSH Late Model action at Woodhull Raceway was cancelled due to rain.
