(Pulaski, PA)...Even though the 2025 racing season is winding down, there has been no shortage of exciting Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Racing Series action presented by Born2Run Lubricants featuring close finishes and new faces in victory lane. In RUSH Late Model City Chevrolet Weekly Series action Mike Reft scored his first victory of the 2025 season at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway to become the ninth different winner at the speedway this season. Brian Nethers tallied his second win of the season, but his first at Muskingum County Speedway in the RUSH Late Model portion of the “Jim Dunn Memorial”.  Todd English nipped Darin Gallagher in the final corner of RUSH Sportsman Modified action and veteran Arnie Kent tallied his first victory of the season in RUSH Sprint Car action.  Al Brewer (RUSH Pro-Mods) and William Baker, Jr. (RUSH Stock Cars) also added to their 2025 win totals.

Friday evening at Dog Hollow Speedway, Tom Snyder, Jr. tallied his sixth win of the season in RUSH Late Model City Chevrolet Weekly Series action. Kolbe Kimbrew was a season best second.  Leo Iarrapino matched his season’s best effort in third.  Bill Johnson was fourth in his 2025 debut.

Hovis RUSH Late Model action returned to Georgetown Speedway Friday evening with Matt Hill and Ben Scott leading the field to green. Scott led the first 12 laps before Nick Davis took command. Davis led the final eight circuits to score his third win of the season and maintain the points lead in the City Chevrolet Track Pack points at the speedway. Joey Warren, Hill, Robert Smith, and Luke Dill rounded out the top five.

Hovis RUSH Late Model competitors at Woodhull Speedway were “topless” on Friday. Youngster Wyatt White and veteran Steve LeBarron led the field to the green. White led lap one with LeBarron leading lap two. While LeBarron and White battled for the lead, fifth place starter John Waters worked his way into third.  Waters was able to get by both LeBarron and White and went on to lead the remainder of the 20-lap event to pick up his second consecutive victory at the New York Southern Tier oval. LeBarron came home in second with White a career best third. Marshall O’Brian and Rickie Loucks rounded out the top five.

Brodie Oravetz and Clinton Hersh led the RUSH Late Model feature event to the green on Saturday at Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Oravetz jumped into the lead with fifth place starter Mike Reft moving into the second spot. Cautions on laps five and six slowed the field, but each time the racing resumed Oravetz maintained the lead. Reft was able to slide by Oravetz before another caution slowed the field on lap 13. Reft then withstood the challenges of Brandon Burgoon for the remainder of the 20-lap event to score his first win of the season in City Chevrolet Weekly Series action by 0.540 seconds. Kyle Lukon, Daryl Charlier and Tom Schirnhofer, Jr. completed the top five.

The Hovis RUSH Late Models were in action at Muskingum County Speedway on Saturday as part of the 43rd Annual “Jim Dunn Memorial”. Brian Nethers scored the win, which was his first at the speedway this season as well as his second overall in Dave Poske’s Performance Parts Mid-Ohio Valley Series action. Nethers also became the 11th different winner in the 14 RUSH Late Model events that have been held at the speedway during the past two years. Kyle Thomas came home in second to take over the MOV points lead with Larry Holbrook finishing third.  Kyle Zimmerman and Anthony Kinkade rounded out the top five.

RUSH Late Model action was part of the “Fall Brawl” season finale at Stateline Speedway this past weekend. Super Late Model competitor Max Blair led the 30-lap feature wire-to-wire to score the win over Breyton Santee and take home the $2,500 paycheck. The win was Blair’s second at the speedway this season in RUSH competition as he also won the $4,000 Flynn’s Tire/Gunter’s Honey Touring Series event back in May. Scott Gurdak, Jake Wilber, and Jason Genco completed the top five.

Devin Brannon scored win #5 in 6 starts at Winchester Speedway this year on Saturday in RUSH Late Model City Chevrolet Weekly Series action. Davin Kaiser, who continues to lead the City Chevrolet Track Pack points at Winchester, finished in the runner-up position. Joe Leavell was third in his season debut.  Travis Campbell and Jacob Whitt finished fourth and fifth.

The lone Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Sportsman Modified event of the weekend took place Saturday evening at Tri-City Raceway Park for their season finale. Teenager Logen Lockhart led the first four circuits until a caution flew for debris on the speedway.  When the action resumed veteran Darin Gallagher slipped by Lockhart for the top spot. Todd English followed Gallagher to grab the second spot, and the duo waged a great battle for the lead. Gallagher drifted high as the duo headed to the checkered flag, which provided English with the opportunity needed to slide underneath and nip Gallagher at the line for the $800 win.  It was English’s second straight victory at Tri-City.  Kole Holden, Lockhart, and Russ King Racing Futures Cup points leader Karston King rounded out the top five.

The Hovis RUSH Sprint Cars headed to Stateline Speedway on Friday for their second and final appearance at the Busti, NY oval.  Samantha Priest and John Mollick led the field to the green. Priest led the first two circuits before Mollick took command. Mollick continued to lead while ninth place starter Arnie Kent slowly worked his way into the second spot. The duo then swapped the lead several times and raced side-by-side before Kent made the winning pass on the 17th circuit. Kent led the final three circuits to score his first win of the season in Billy’s Garage Weekly Series action and become the eighth different Series winner this season!  Mollick held on for the second position with Blaze Myers getting third as those two drivers continue to battle for the $5,000 title. Wyatt Long and Brian Cressley rounded out the top five.

The RUSH Pro Mods were also in action at Stateline Speedway Saturday evening as part of the speedway’s “Fall Brawl” season finale. Veteran Al Brewer captured his fourth win of the season at the New York track and his fifth overall in divisional action this season. Nick Arnold finished second with Derek Austin third. Josh Wilcox and Tyler Oakes completed the top five.

Raiddan Wilson led the first five laps in RUSH Stock Car action at Tri-City Raceway Park on Saturday until a caution slowed the field. On the restart, Camron Kramer took the lead and led until a caution for debris slowed the field. An additional two cautions slowed the field before the racing action resumed with William Baker, Jr. grabbing the lead and going on to collect his third consecutive win at the speedway and a $750 paycheck. Kramer came home in the runner-up position with Wilson, Kaden Michael and Alex Bush completing the top five.  A season high 11 cars were on hand.
