The annual “Topless Nationals” were the headliner at The Dirt Track Genesee Speedway as RUSH Late Model teams were in action both Friday and Saturday for the Batavia, New York track’s season ending events.  Friday evening Doug Ricotta and Mike Wonderling led the 20-car field to the green. Ricotta led lap one but bobbled in turns three and four which left the door open for Bill Taylor to grab the lead. A lap six caution slowed the field and gave veteran Jeremy Wonderling the opportunity needed to take the lead. Wonderling continued to show the way with Bill Holmes III staying right behind.  Holmes got by Wonderling to lead lap 11 and show the way until another caution flew on lap 14. The duo of Holmes and Wonderling then raced side-by-side following the restart with Wonderling using the top side of the speedway to take command on lap 16.  The Wellsville, NY veteran went on to score his season’s first win at Genesee and collect the $1,000 paycheck by 0.892 seconds over Holmes. Paul Grigsby, Taylor, and Ricotta.
