April 3, 2018               FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

(Pulaski, PA)...The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Racing Series powered by Pace Performance is proud to announce that Frankland Racing Supply has come on board as the "Official Rear End" of the Series in 2018.  Frankland joins several new national companies that have gotten involved with RUSH in a major way as "Official Sponsors" thus far in 2018 including Wrisco Industries, Dynamic Drivelines, Dirt Defender, and Racing Electronics.

"I've always hoped to align Frankland's name with RUSH," stated RUSH Director Vicki Emig.  "I've known the Ferree Family for many years through racing.  Of course Alex Ferree and his father Ed have been big names throughout the western Pa. Late Model scene, and we really have to thank the entire Ferree Family for making this happen.  Their products can be utilized across the board in all eight of our divisions on dirt and asphalt, and they also have the capability of repairing other brands."

"Over the past few season Frankland has begun to develop rear ends specific to crate engine racing that have produced great results," continued Emig.  "The fact that they ship product anywhere in the United States  and Canada will give RUSH racers from throughout our entire region the opportunity to experience and utilize their quality products as well as their repair service if needed for other brands of rear ends.  There's nothing better than dealing with family-owned businesses.  And when you add the Ferree name to the mix, racers who have had numerous victories throughout the years using Frankland Racing Products, a very unique situation is created.  I know the relationship between RUSH and Frankland will prove beneficial to RUSH competitors."

Frankland will contribute 10 product packages valued at a minimum of $300 each throughout the Series' seven "Manufacturers Nights" presented by MSD Performance including the two for the dirt Late Models at Genesee Speedway on July 19 and Tri-City Raceway Park on August 19, the Sportsman Modifieds at Sharon Speedway on June 23, the Pro Mods at Stateline Speedway on July 18, the Asphalt Series at Jennerstown Speedway on July 21, the Sprint Cars at Lernerville on August 31, and the Pro Stocks at Lernerville on October 13.

Frankland Racing Supply began as a solution to a problem.  Founder Jim Frankland had been racing since 1931, and he was looking for a way to quickly adapt his gear ratio to match the conditions of the track.  The existing design, known as the pumpkin, was very slow to change out so Jim designed the 6-bolt quick-change rear end, and without realizing it changed racing forever.  Jim’s new rear end design was so successful he began manufacturing parts for other racers, and in 1947, he launched Frankland Racing Supply.

In 1991 Ed Ferree acquired Frankland Racing Supply and moved the company to Saxonburg, Pa.  Ed had raced on dirt tracks throughout the 1980s before moving on to NASCAR, so he could see what racers of all levels and types needed – and what they needed was a reliable rear-end that was quick to change and that would last.  Ed had used Frankland rear-ends in his own cars for years. With Frankland, Ed knew he had a product that other racers would want – one that was worth staking his reputation on.

Today, under the direction of the Ferree Family, Frankland Racing continues to grow and innovate.  Frankland's design is still based on Jim Frankland’s original idea, but they constantly look for ways to improve the design – ways to make it lighter, faster, and stronger.  Frankland's rear ends are used by countless drivers, and they ship rear ends anywhere in the United States, and also send parts to racers in five different countries.  Nearly all of Frankland's parts are manufactured in the United States (with just one part made overseas, in Italy!), and over 80% of them are made at their Saxonburg plant.  Frankland's local manufacturing process in their 22,500 square-foot facility allows them to keep prices affordable.  Their talented team can complete same-day repairs on rear ends made by any company, not just Frankland.  To date, Frankland has over $2 million in inventory, ready to ship to anywhere in the world.

Frankland Racing Products are available at their Saxonburg location as well as the following distributors: Applebee Motorsports (Clymer, NY), Bernheisel Race Cars (Jonestown, PA), Tom Clise Race Car Ports Warehouse (Frostburg, MD), Jereco Engineering (Sinking Springs, PA), Lamb Speed Supply (Clay, NY), Wagner's Garage (Harrisonville, PA), and Zemco Speed Equipment (Tower City, PA).  For more information on Frankland, check out their website at www.franklandracing.com or call them at 898-2111.  "Like" their Facebook page by searching 'Frankland Racing Supply' as numerous informative and proactive tips on rear end maintenance are posted.
