SWEENEY CHEVROLET RUSH DIRT LATE MODEL SERIES ANNOUNCES 2013 INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS; 3 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS ACROSS REGION JAN 4-6

(Pulaski, PA)…The Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC RUSH Dirt Late Model Series has announced three informational meetings for the upcoming inaugural 2013 season to be held Friday-Sunday, January 4-6. Friday night’s meeting will be at 7 PM at Rock’n Ricks in Limestone, NY; Town & Country Banquet Center near New Castle, Pa. will host the Saturday afternoon meeting at 1 PM; and finally the North Union Twp. Rec. Center near Uniontown, Pa. will be the location for the Sunday afternoon 2 PM meeting.
The meetings will be open to track promoters, engines builders, current and prospective teams, and other persons interested in the Series. A separate meeting for promoters will be held an hour and a half before each meeting time.
At each meeting, there will be an explanation on the 2013 programs featuring the Sweeney Chevrolet “Weekly Series Championship”, the Sweeney Chevrolet “Summer Chase, the Sweeney Chevrolet “Touring Series”, and the “Futures Cup”.
2013 RUSH driver membership applications will be available. As a special promotion, charter memberships will be available through January 31 at 10% off the $100 Weekly and/or $100 Touring membership fees. Charter members will then be able to take advantage of this special discounted offer into the future as they renew their memberships on an annual basis!
As an added incentive, Sweeney Chevrolet will offer a $100 discount to the first 10 RUSH member drivers, who purchase either a GM602 or GM604, or $200 off a CT525 crate engine! Sweeney already offers these crate engines at the following low prices: $3,149 for a GM602, $5,090 for a GM604, and $6,920 for a CT525.
Tim Sims, the interim Sweeney Chevrolet RUSH Dirt Late Model Competition Director and current NeSmith Dirt Late Model Competition Director, will be on hand to explain the 2013 RUSH Rules package. The RUSH Series Technical Department development and new structure will also be discussed. Mike Vaughn, NeSmith Founder and Series Director, will also be on hand to discuss the benefits that can be achieved in the future through the alignment of both Series.
A Hoosier tire dealer representative will be on hand for a demonstration on the Sweeney Chevrolet RUSH Dirt Late Model Series tire of choice, the Crate Racin’ USA D21 and D55. Note: Teams will be permitted to use tires that were previously used at each respective track for the first four events or through May 31, 2013, whichever comes first.

The 2013 Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC “Touring Series” schedule is coming together nicely with approximately 20 events to date throughout the region with a few more to be secured. It was just confirmed that the 108th Annual McKean County Fair will feature the RUSH Touring Series on Thursday, August 15!
